Remembering What's Important

This is a short video that was taken for a project unrelated to the school, but it seemed like it should be shared. If you have trouble seeing it above, the larger version is hosted by the One Day on Earth Project at: https://vimeo.com/55525114

If you haven't had the chance to make it to mass with the students, you should try to arrange it in your schedule one day. It has touched even strangers who  thought they were coming in for a regular Mass.

Sitting there with Monsignor, the students, faculty, parents and members of the community, and witnessing their interaction together is really an inspirational and uplifting experience. And the music and singing are a beautiful bonus. If you are feeling burnt out, or busy or stressed, slow down for an hour and come and join in mass. Your kids will love it. You will feel connected. You will leave feeling better. You could be bombarded with hugs. And it will answer that question "why?".  Why do you choose STCS?  Why all the rules? Why all the hard work? Why all the parent participation?
This is why.

I don't know what other students were doing at their schools on a documented day such as this one, or every other Wednesday for that matter. But I do know what ours were doing.

Have safe and Merry Christmas!
