Fall Reminders
Happy October! Fall is such a fun time of the year, and we have a lot going on this month!
Hopefully a little something for everyone- things will be coming home for you to pick and choose from so let us know which are your easiest/favorites.
Just a reminder that Scrip Orders are due Friday, Oct. 4th (The full list of cards if available at www.glscrip.com). Also, don't forget if you are on your way to the grocery store, to dinner, the bookstore or the movies, Marsha has many cards available for immediate purchase in the office.
Are some of your magazine subscriptions from last year's magazine sale about to expire? Are you trying to come up with some great holiday gifts that will actually get used?
Then visit our online store - it's always open. The link is under our "Shop" tab, or go here:
www.gaschoolstore.com - School Code: #1333731
Getting ready to do a fall clean up? Back by popular demand, the hugely successful Arc "Fill A Truck" drive will be held in our parking lot beginning Oct. 23. More times and dates for drop off to come. Drop off your unwanted, gently worn/used clothing, household items, baby gear, furniture etc. If we fill the truck, the ARC will donate $1000 to our school- which goes into our operating fund!
And finally, some BIG news. We are so excited to announce that this year- STCS will be throwing a Fall Festival!
Several of you have suggested we mix things up a bit and move Mardi Gras to a fall harvest fest.
Well, this year we are going to take the plunge! We have some excitement and great ideas coming in already. The fest will be in mid November- so if you'd like to earn some volunteer hours, be creative and have some fun, join us in the planning! Just let one of your ACE officers know, come to the next ACE meeting on Oct. 8th, or leave your number with Marsha. Its going to be a lot of fun!
Blessing to All!

Welcome back St. Therese Families!
We are looking forward to another exciting year!
Our next meeting is Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 6:30 p.m.
This year's ACE Executive committee is Michelle Vigil, Trish Ackerman, Vanessa Martinez, Elizabeth Cornella and SeƱora Ryan.
We have a lot of fun activities brewing and getting ready to get back in the swing for the new year.
As many of you may have noticed, our used/recycled uniform closet was getting quite full and unorganized, so now, thanks to our new School Store Manager, Chairity Decker, creating "St. Therese's Closet", we have a space where we can go and see the uniforms hung up, and styled, complete with a dressing room! The "Closet" is located at 801 East Evans, and is open Mondays and Wednesday's from 5 - 7 p.m., or you can call Charity at 924-8203 to set up another time. Also, If you'd like to earn volunteer hours helping, just let her know! If you have any gently worn uniforms your student has out grown, you can drop them by the "Closet", or leave them up at the school office.
Shelly Gill and Gina Baca have stepped up again as our Hospitality Committee Chair"ladies". If you are interested in helping with this fun committee, please let one of them, or Marsha know.
We have a lot of fun committees to join. Remember, one of us can't do it all by ourselves, but if everyone does just a "little something", TOGETHER we can make a difference!
Also for September : The Knight Run is just around the corner on the 20th, Schwan's ordering opportunities are near, and Root Beer Floats Fridays will make a come back on Friday the 13th!
Have a great September!
